The shotcut build should duplicate the one you downloaded. I've decided to do things in the other direction. I've built shotcut with git mlt and frei0r. You can zypper dup -r from: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/plater:/shotcut/ openSUSE_Tumbleweed If that still has the problem then I'll add the other packages one by one. After we've found the culprit we can double check with kdenlive. I suspect that something is reserving threads and not using them. Can you install and use atop for your load representations, the graph is not easy to use.
