Internal monitor of the laptop is 4k (HiDPI). GNOME does not adjust scaling to the individual screen regarding HiDPI (or not). device FYI: 15" laptop HP Pavilion 15-bc094nz, i7-6700HQ, NVIDIA GTX 960M, 3840 x 2160.
