just tried KOTD
2017-07-23
17:33:28|install|kernel-default|4.13.rc1-3.1.g40a8696|x86_64|root@linux-q67b|KOTD|8886980810856f77b0e729348a9ddad9fe828ca339082ce329a85dde59732774|
with this kernel booted, the dmesg -e
grepping for gpu shows lot of init messages for the amd gpu chipset so this
kernel seems to be better suited for this graphics chip
but there, the mouse cursor (some standard simple logitech usb mouse attached
to motherboard) doesnt move at all on logon screen nor in the default kde
session. mouse cursor is visible in the middle of the screen though. maybe
there is more to mouse cursor and support inside the x session that is related
to a kernel and other software stacks. the simple usb keyboard continues to
work though.
thanks.
