Ok, fix
ba714a9c1dea ("pinctrl/amd: Use regular interrupt instead of chained")
is in the tw kernel, closing for now as the boot explosion at least should be fixed.
I'll reopen if there's new movement upstream. I installed kernel 4.11.8-1 and the repeating message of IRQ trap came back. Since the custom kernel I was using got deleted, I had to add "module_blacklist=gpio_amdpt,pinctrl_amd" to grub to stop the repeating message.
So the problem I'm having with my AMD hardware doesn't appear to be fixed with this TW kernel that turns off chained interrupt. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
