http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1047962 Bug ID: 1047962 Summary: Autocomplete for package names does not work for specific zypper commands Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp Assignee: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: cfd_s12@web.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Autocomplete works only for specific zypper commands like "zypper install" or "zypper info". It's probably not implemented but it would be very helpful if package name autocomplete would work for other commands like "zypper addlock". Since some zypper commands already have autocomplete for further command options (for example "zypper addlock --type") there would be a need to start autocomplete for package names only when a character different from dash/minus (--) is entered. workflow example: I want to lock a specific Intel package, but I'm unsure about the right package name 1. type "sudo zypper addlock intel" 2. double tap TAB 3. autocomplete suggest "intel-cmt-cat intel-gpu-tools intelhex intel-SINIT" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
