http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1046961 Bug ID: 1046961 Summary: no power off after shutdown Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: peter-mailbox@web.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since some time, my notebook don't power off after shutdown. I can't remember if it was definitively a kernel upgrade or when (which upgrade), but I assume it has something to do with the kernel. Last messages on shutdown screen: Reached target Shutdown. dracut warning: Killing all remaining processes I tried the following with no success: rmmod mei_me (Intel Management Engine) acpi=off (so no ACPI problem!?) looking for BIOS update (none available) Switching off the notebook by power button works, but it's getting annoying.
