--- Comment #4 from Dr. Werner Fink
Werner, I'm facing the same problem, but without ever having used the sidebar.
For switching mailing list folders I'm typing <c>>. Then I can select from a list of mailing list folders. With the previous mutt version from Leap 42.2 I saw the number of new messages in front of each folder. Now I only see a 'N' if there are new messages. No idea how to reconfigure that. :-( Any ideas?
In mutt type F1 ... then type -i and then search for number.*message with this I see sections 2.4.3.2. Sidebar Format String and 3.375. status_format 3.78. folder_format 29.3.3. Format String for the NotMuch Browser mostly with %m number of messages in the mailbox * %n number of unread messages in the mailbox * %N N if mailbox has new mail, blank otherwise Interesting that sidebar use something like Format Notes Description %B Name of the mailbox %S * /- Size of mailbox (total number of messages) %F * /- Number of Flagged messages in the mailbox %N * /- Number of New messages in the mailbox %n * If there's new mail, display "N", otherwise nothing %! "!": one flagged message; "!!": two flagged messages; "n!": n which is the opposite of the other formats ;) In meanwhile sidebar is in upstream mutt now (1.8.3) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
