Bug ID: 1045700
Summary: Leap 42.3 - systemd-coredump loads every CPU core
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Distribution
Version: Leap 42.3
Hardware: x86-64
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
Assignee: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reporter: tomas.kuchta@xxxxxxxxx
QA Contact: qa-bugs@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Blocker: ---

After installing Leap 42.3 RC all CPU cores are fully loaded with
systemd-coredump processes. This makes the laptop unusable:

HP EliteBook 820 G3:
Model: 6.78.3 "Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz"
8GB RAM, SSD - SanDisk SD7TN3Q-
Intel Sunrise Point-LP

Standard, default install with KDE

Update does not resolve tho problem.
Killing systemd-coredump is ineffective - they are auto restarted

ps -ef | grep dump
root 4880 2 0 Jun22 ? 00:00:06
/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-coredump 4861 1000 100 31 1498200980 single

Thank you, Tomas
