--- Comment #9 from Michal Srb
... and looking through the bugzilla, this seems the case in bug#992429, which is duped to bug#981975, as an LLVM issue.
I knew it looked familiar... That would mean we need to take the u_add_llvm_codegen_dependencies.patch and use it in Leap 42.2.
I updated only Mesa-* packages taken from 42.3. It survived xdpyinfo twice, and now it crashes at the third time :-<
Hey, we can wait until openSUSE Leap 42.999, which survives for 999 times.
But this is strange. Leap 42.3 already has u_add_llvm_codegen_dependencies.patch. I tried to backport it to Leap 42.2, but the error still happens. I checked it closer and it seems that first dlopen succeeds, second fails and dlerror reports "/usr/lib64/../lib64/libLLVMTransformUtils.so.3.8: undefined symbol: _ZN4llvm4PassD2Ev", third dlopen succeeds again, but not really - the static variables in the library are not initialized. It seems to me it is the same principle as in bnc#992429, but the core cause is something else. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
