http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1039965 Bug ID: 1039965 Summary: In the Release notes views, hyperlinks are shown as clickable, but don’t work. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: moritzrakow@web.de QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 725752 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=725752&action=edit “Release Notes” window after clicking on link ## Overview There are two ways to read the release notes in the graphical installer: Either in a dialog-like window after clicking the bottom-left “Release Notes…” button, or, later, when the installation is performed in a tab view. In neither of the views is it possible to follow hyperlinks, although they are displayed as clickable (green and underlined). In the dialog view, clicking on a link clears the window (screenshot attached). In the tab view at the stage where packages are downloaded and installed, clicking a link produces no action other than focussing it. ## Steps to reproduce For the window view: 1. Start the graphical installer. 2. Click the bottom-left “Release Notes…” button any time in the pre-installation process. 3. Click any link in the release notes. For the tabbed view during the package installation: 1. Start the graphical installer. 2. Navigate through the pre-install steps and start the installation. 3. While packages are being installed, click the “openSUSE Leap Release Notes” tab. 4. Click any link in the release notes. ## Actual results Window view: the “Release Notes” window will clear. Tabbed view: Nothing will happen. ## Expected Results Don’t make links clickable (like a print stylesheet), or provide some kind of feedback. Possibly display full URL and QR code on click so that it can be navigated to with a different device. ## Build date and hardware Build 0246 (openSUSE-Leap-42.3-NET-x86_64-Build0246-Media.iso) on VirtualBox 5. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
