Frankly, I don't know if we really support this kind of scenario. When you do
things outside of YaST during installation, you will have to do it completely,
not just a part of it; when you call "cryptsetup luksFormat" on the command
line, you will also have to write your /etc/crypttab manually.
You can choose an automated setup with the storage proposal, or you can create
both partitions and encryption from the expert partitioner. In that case, of
course YaST should create all necessary entries in /etc/fstab as well as
/etc/crypttab.
If you do most of it outside of YaST, however, I don't think it is reasonable
to expect that /etc/crypttab gets created automagically.
