When we use this option there is no problem with the console, there are no wrong chars in the yast welcome screen, and the welcome screen design is not broken. Torsten also mentioned that this problem happening in the console when we use the Graphical Virtual Machine Manager can be caused due to some problem in plymouth or dracut. As I talked already with the responsible for dracut and he does not believe that this issue is related to any dracut changes, it would be interesting if the plymouth team could check this console problem happening in the PPC64LE machines when using the last versions of tumbleweed.
