Hi Oliver,
Would you please comment on comment#6 ? I don't think the VM in openQA ran in UEFI mode, which effectively invalidate the bug report ... Thanks.
Let me answer for Oliver. We run the same set of tests on two machines, '64bit' (Legacy BIOS), and 'uefi' (with OVMF): 64bit: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/401294#step/yast2_bootloader/7 uefi: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/401295#step/yast2_bootloader/5 The yast2-bootloader fails to re-generate bootloader only for the Legacy BIOS machine. Note that '64bit' has (https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/401294#step/yast2_bootloader/4) 'GRUB for EFI' set as a bootloader. We have it like this for JeOS "kvm-and-xen" images (both SLES & openSUSE) from the beginning. Michael Chang: You want to say that having 'GRUB for EFI' set as a bootloader for Legacy BIOS VMs won't work? Cc-ing @gmoro, as he is developing JeOS. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
