--- Comment #2 from Petr Cervinka <pcervinka@xxxxxxx> ---
I can confirm part related to python-sip:

hp-setup

HP Linux Imaging and Printing System (ver. 3.16.11)
Printer/Fax Setup Utility ver. 9.0

Copyright (c) 2001-15 HP Development Company, LP
This software comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.
This is free software, and you are welcome to distribute it
under certain conditions. See COPYING file for more details.

error: No module named sip

And it was solved by manual package installation:
zypper in python-sip

I briefly checked hplip.spec in Printing/hplip project, but I don't see
python-sip in Requires.
