Servus geeko minions ...
I have fully up-to-date (today to 31.1.2017) 42.2 and found, that we're affected by buggy behaviour described in here:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=209720
Yakuake doesn't open entirely the dialog for managing profiles
Yes, and as you can read in this thread, this is because the konsole developers decided to remove the possibility to open the "Manage Profiles" dialog from other applications like yakuake. A corresponding upstream bug report is also mentioned in that thread. Nothing we can do about that, sorry.
and seems that it really uses - somehow - the profile shared with other kde apps (like konsole):
Yes, that's nothing new though. Actually, yakuake only embeds konsole, it is not a stand-alone terminal emulator. Therefore it also uses Konsole's profiles. This also means that you should be able to manage/change your yakuake profiles in Konsole.
hah, the only weird thing is, that my currently working yakuake profile uses green-on-black but default profile for konsole is grey-on-black ...
Well, maybe you set a different profile as default for Konsole? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
