http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1021414 Bug ID: 1021414 Summary: Built-in Dark Themes in Leap 42.2 show minimized apps in Panel less clearly than in OpenSUSE 13.x Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: captainuppervolta@hotmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Note - this is reporting a bug in the Themes, not in Panel. In OpenSUSE 13.1/13.2, the default "OpenSUSE" Theme causes minimized apps to be shown very clearly in the Panel - the text is darkened. So if I have 20 emacs instances, for example, and only two of them are not minimized, I can quickly jump to either one because it's obvious which 2 are not minimized. In OpenSUSE Leap 42.2, among the dark themes, the openSUSEdark theme shows NO difference for minimized apps, the Oxygen theme shows a partial underline for non-minimized apps (which is difficult to see), and Breeze Dark shows a counter-intuitive slightly *lighter* background for minimized apps. All of these approaches aren't as visually obvious as darkened text - obviously openSUSEdark (presumably the default dark theme) is the worst showing no difference at all. Note that the non-dark version of the openSUSE-named theme does show minimized apps with a darker background - so the behavior of openSUSEdark is almost certainly a bug. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
