http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1021205 Bug ID: 1021205 Summary: Plasma Workspace very unstable since latest updates Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: dutchkind@txoriaskea.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since the 17 of January updates Plasma workspace has become very very unstable. Random freezes from the taskbar, and sometimes until the whole system becomes unworkable. Some keyboard shortcuts keep working in the first phase so it is then still possible to log off and restart the user's session, but this takes a long time before the actual log off takes place. The freezes are very frequently, like every 5 to 10 minutes on my desktop with Radeon video. On my laptop with intel graphics it doesn't occur that often, in the beginning right after the updates it did, but the updates after that day fixed some issues. Or it can be that because the laptop has double the ram it takes more time to fill up. Anyway, this is an unworkable situation causing lot's of frustration and I would be pleased if a solution could be found. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
