I too am experiencing this bug with the latest Tumbleweed per 2017-01-07, and I
*don’t* use GNOME (but I do use tracker). It’s causing heavy disk thrashing
and
a CPU trending towards overheating (several systemd-coredump process are listed
at the top of both ‘htop’ and ‘iotop’, and ‘dmesg’ reports
‘Package temperature
above threshold, cpu clock throttled’).

And yes, it seems to be related to tracker and gstreamer. ‘ps’ reports
processes like

root 11731 65.9 0.5 118992 97304 ? R 16:38 0:32
/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-coredump 11674 1000 100 31 1483803497 midiparse0:sink

(and ‘midiparse’ seems to be part of gstreamer).
