http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1007748 Bug ID: 1007748 Summary: calibre ebook-edit crashes when editing css file Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: cornelis@solcon.nl QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- This is upstream bug that is openSUSE Leap 42.2 specific. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/1630735 It seems the bug is somewhere in Qt5 of PyQt. As far as known it is not a bug in calibre itself, but in the interaction with system libraries. To reproduce: 1. open a epub in calibre with edit book 2. Open a css file. 3. Move the cursor to the newly opened window and let the mouse hover above a random line (not a blanc line) 4. Result: a crash. It seems that the expected result is a tooltip. All info is in the upstream bug. Please do not assign this bug to the calibre maintainer. That would be me, and I have done everything I could. The bug still is there with an update Leap 42.2 installation from 30 October. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
