This is for spamassassin-3.4.1-53.2.x86_64 ,
/usr/lib/systemd/system/spamd.service
in OpenSuSE "Leap" 42.1 .
I encountered this problem also. My fix was to add network.target to the After
and Wants lists, i.e.
Wants=remote-fs.target network.target
After=remote-fs.target network.target
When booting, my wild side net takes a while to get a DHCP address. Usually
sa-update finishes in the allowed time, once the net comes up, but in rare
cases it doesn't, and spamd fails to start.
