http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1000181 Bug ID: 1000181 Summary: autoupdate checks for battery Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: spam.catcher@t-online.de QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Thank you for fixing the run-crons script in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=983925 to run regardless if the laptop is on battery or not. Now it makes sense though for certain cron jobs to only run on battery. For example, for /etc/cron.weekly/opensuse.org-online_update How about letting the user decide if it runs on battery as well by a check box in the YaST2 software management module? In any event, OpenSUSE should ship with on_ac_power by default, so that this check does not depend on the particular user installation. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
