I just wanted to add that I think I'm seeing this too, however I only see it
when I have a secondary screen hooked up.
Here is my setup:
1. Lenovo x260 laptop @ 1920x1080 set as the secondary screen.
2. Dell U2410 monitor @ 1920x1200 set as primary screen connected via
displayport
Basically when the cursor is over certain UI elements the cursor is scaled
normally (window titlebars, plasma panel, desktop, etc). When I move the mouse
to application elements the cursor is scaled up. This happens if the window is
on either screen. If I unplug the Dell monitor this issue persists unless I
close and reopen the application.
Interestingly this does not happen in all applications. For example, I
discovered GIMP doesn't exhibit this bug but Amarok, Display Settings, Dolphin,
and Firefox all show this issue.
I've attached a screenshot which illustrates the issue.
