I don't recall having KAlarm on or installed when I reported this bug.
I did find a work-around.
If the taskbar is showing, click on the KAlarm icon (it might be in the
hidden/unused icon list), and then close KAlarm pop-up.
I'm almost positive that I am up-to-date on all 13.2 patches and this issue
still occurs. The work-around does clear the problem.
I'm sorry I don't know the KDE roadmap or what Plasma-5 means to a KDE desktop.
I won't know if this is still an issue on KDE-5 until I upgrade.
