http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=981717 Bug ID: 981717 Summary: Touchscreen not recognised Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: badshah400@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: jkosina@suse.com, tiwai@suse.com Depends on: 975841 Found By: --- Blocker: --- +++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #975841 +++ Just bought a new laptop: ThinkPad Yoga 260 and installed TW 20160411 on it with kernel 4.5. This has a touch sensitive screen and a pen. Unfortunately, although it seems that the touchscreen is recognised as a Wacom tablet, tapping/touching the screen leaves it unresponsive. Further, on every login into a GNOME session, I get the warning: Unknown Wacom tablet detected, this device may not work as expected. Indeed it doesn't work at all. Hardware info from YaST attached. This was finally fixed in kernel 4.6 by this commit: http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/jikos/hid.git/commit/?id=326ea2a... Could we get this backported for the Leap 42.2 kernel too, please? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
