Hm, it still opens nautilus (or now actually Firefox) here even if I set
krusader as default and remove the parameters from the Exec line...
But I found out the reason for that: KDE's systemsettings adds a ';' at the end
of the line in mimeapps.list, and xdg-open apparently doesn't like that. Maybe
a bug in xdg-open or maybe just the version in 13.2 is outdated...
Anyway, by removing the ';' I am able to reproduce the problem now, i.e.
krusader is started if I remove all extra arguments from the Exec line,
otherwise xdg-open falls back to something else (Firefox in my case).
Will investigate further.
