scenario 3 was impossible because I added the repository
server:php:applications after the problem not before.
I still use the official php

the working config now is: roundcube from unreleased, php from official update
I can't do experiments here at the moment. I have no clone of the machine. The
installation itself is "productive".
I know that 13.2 is not the newest. But the newest 42.1 hast no 32bit-support.
And the migration to 64bit is a planned task.
