You make it sound as if a password wipe was intentional? If this is a
regression of a Chromium update please call it so. But it is in the nature of
regressions that they are unknown, and therefore cannot be documented
beforehand. The patch documentation was based on what was submitted by the
maintainer. I am not following your writings on messages displayed to the user,
you have not made it clear what this is referring to, or how it would be
feasible to make extra warning about a specific special case in one among the
many packages we update.
