I see, so if understand it correctly YaST should use "pkexec" instead of
"xdg-su" in the *.desktop files. Correct?
I think this is a potentially big change which raises questions like:
- What are the pkexec requirements? Is it part even of the minimal system? How
much the system size changes if we install it?
- Is there any regression compared to xdg-su or some incompatible behavior
which we should consider when doing the switch?
- Any possible security issues with that? Anything we should avoid to not
create a security hole?
Anyway, I think this should be discussed at https://fate.opensuse.org/ as we
need broader agreement about this.
