Andreas Stieger
we used the simple-access-control-provider in suse 13.2 defining groups (also nested groups) by simple_allow_groups and simple_deny_groups and it worked fine. In Suse Leap 42.1 the same configuration is not working anymore.
How is it not working? What is not working, how to reproduce? Please attach the configuration.
The version of the sssd in Suse 13.2 is 1.12.2, in Suse 42.1 the version of the sssd is 1.11.5.1, it became an older version !
In the hybrid distribution openSUSE Leap 42.1, some package are inherited from the SLE 12 and SLE 12 SP1 codebase. This means that some packages may be older than on 13.2, but they will receive ongoing maintenance covered by SUSE's QA on SLE updates.
