With the boot options you're passing, it's impossible to use the native graphics. Why do you put such options? These seem coming from the fallback menu entry, >not from the normal boot.
These are the standard SAFE installation options of Leap 42.1
Try without extra options at first, e.g. just pass "resume=/dev/sda1 >splash=silent quiet showopts"
Another bug report you mentioned (bug 966593) is also because of these weird >boot options.
These are the standard SAFE installation options of Leap 42.1 Crazy, after changing the boot options all kernels are used. The only message left, was a mssing backlight message. Try to reproduce this.
