--- Comment #11 from Wolfgang Bauer
This patch has the following result: The time after login to displaying the desktop takes some time (15-20s).
After uninstalling this patch the login process is very fast on my computer.
So this happens again if you reinstall it? Does it also happen on subsequent logins? And as already asked: Does it happen on a fresh user account? Maybe something's wrong with your user settings. The package might cause something trying to connect to an online account I suppose (that's what kaccounts is about), and timing out. Also, if your internet connection is a NetworkManager user connection, try to switch it to a system connection (enable "Allow other users to connect" in the connection editor) so that it is up already when logging in. I'm just guessing here, though. And I still see no reason why the latest *update* should have changed anything in this regard. Maybe it would be interesting to know whether you have the same problem with an older package (15.12.0). You should still be able to install that by using YaST's "Versions" tab. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
