http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=961146 Bug ID: 961146 Summary: yast install partitioner makes error on partition size Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: 2015* Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: jdd@dodin.org QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 661213 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=661213&action=edit camera screenshot When I last tied to install TW from the dvd (openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20160105-Media), I had to make myself the partitioning. YaST wanted to make me add partition over the hole disk size. The images shows what I made, but for the last partition, YaST proposed to make a 69Gb partition and that was obviously more than the 109 Gb extended part (45 Gb already used, for a net total of 110). http://dodin.org/owncloud/index.php/s/ZM6GuqT0gkQPilJ In fact, I first created the swap partition, and YaST proposed he hole remaining size (around 69Gb). Then I asked for a new partition (for the system) and YaST made the same proposal (still 69Gb), and wrote this to the screen.I didn't try to write the result to the disk (too dangerous) and removed the erroneous partition and add the 40Gb one. I don't have valid TW on this machine to test when running -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
