http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=960242 Bug ID: 960242 Summary: KDE software update widget installs more software than shown Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: arnold.mesper@yandex.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- During the installation I chose not to install some patterns (e.g. Multimedia, Office Software, Graphics and Games). It is was an offline installation. After installation I performed an update via the KDE software update widget. The widget told me that there were some updates necessary, but in the end it also installed the patterns that I unselected during the installation. That it installed these patterns is confusing to a novice user, but understandable, as I did not choose "taboo - never install" during the installation. The problem that I see is that the widget does not warn, that in addition to updates it will install a whole list of recommended software. These new software that will be installed is not shown in the list, thus I cannot unselect it! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
