I Don't know, I have asked upstream about a release planning, will wait and
see.
But I don't think this is a bug of salt,
If I open my tumbleweed installation,
/etc/os-release has the name openSUSE,
If I look in leap installation,
/etc/os-release has the name 'openSUSE Leap'
looks like something changed in openSUSE-release package,
between tumbleweed and leap...
If a suse/opensuse dev could give some light on this,
puppet is not affected because it relies on /etc/SUSE-release
https://docs.puppetlabs.com/facter/2.3/core_facts.html#operatingsystem
ansible is also affected because it relies on /etc/os-release
https://github.com/ansible/ansible/blob/74d76105aa2b38822dea08f8a244adbfa960...
