So it seems there is some bug with interaction on system cups. And I can't make heads or tails on what is going on there. Way beyond my skill on this. :) What I didn't test is to try it with libreoffice 5.0 that are present in LibreOffice:Factory repository. So you can try it yourself, and if it is still present you could report the problem to upstream bugzilla [1] where hopefully caolan would know much more about the code he wrote.
