It also fails with other users. I have 3 users on the computer I'm typing this on and I cannot start another session with other users. Also, remote desktops have been broken since 12.x. Is this the new KDE? Break something, declare someone doesn't need it and so WONTFIX??? What kind of crap is that? I haven't been able to use remote desktops for almost 4 years and now can't even start another session as a different users. This isn't the Linux I've known for years.
There are problems. Please fix them and none of this WONTFIX garbage!
And maybe you should start to learn how to read !!! Your issue is quite different from what originally was reported here. The issue reported was that it doesn't work with the same user. And that is a WONTFIX. What has this to do with the new KDE ?? I don't like the tone of this message at all. At this moment the people that are packaging KDE for the openSUSE are existing out of two people, which are coming from the community and are trying their best. But it seems that you are not appreciating this and just ranting around. Did you ever submitted a bugreport upstream at KDE itself? (on bugs.kde.org). The two people from the community are not KDE developers, nor associated to or employed by SUSE. Did you test with another DM ? I am running Tumbleweed here with KF5 and can normally switch user sessions. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
