http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=937648 Bug ID: 937648 Summary: editors/vim: Use vanilla /etc/vimrc Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: idonmez@suse.com Reporter: jkeil@suse.com QA Contact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The lines below totally messed up my .vim{,rc} config when I copied it from Arch Linux machine to openSUSE. I'd suggest to use a vanilla `/etc/vimrc` instead of crowding it with highly opinionated "defaults". For legacy compatibility, provide a `/etc/vimrc.deprecated` file or so, which users can source from their `.vimrc`. Alternatively, just leave it away and provide an update hint. ``` map! <Esc>[3~ <Delete> map <ESC>[3~ x ``` -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
