Thomas Blume
With 13.2 Beta1 installed on the machine, I tested it again, and the issue persists.
Then I edited /etc/systemd/logind.conf and set the following options: HandleLidSwitch=ignore LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=no
Even with those settings, the machine still crashes. So it must be something low-level in the way the lid switch is handled.
Can anyone give me a hint about how and where the lid switch event enters Linux at the lowest level? Perhaps I'll try to trace the chain of events from there...
Have you got an external monitor or a docking station connected? If so, are you aware that systemd is ignoring lid switch events in such cases for a certain time after system startup? For details, see bug 868019. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
