The issue does not belong to openSUSE because
it is about software that openSUSE does not provide.
Furthermore it is about self-compiled software.
Such issues also do not belong to openSUSE.
Accordingly the issue is invalid for openSUSE.
You need to report issues with third-party software
to the vendor or the authors of the third-party software
and/or ask there for help and support, cf.
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports
"Bugzilla is no replacement for support."
Normally foomatic-rip "just works" without issues (in particular
it works for the printer drivers that are provided by openSUSE).
Only the "/usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed" message
does not tell a reason why it failed. I guess that failure
is somehow related to your third-party printer driver. See
https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:How_to_Report_a_Printing_Issue
how you could diagnose the cause of your printing issue.
We do not have a printer that uses the foo2lava driver
(in particular we do not have a Xerox Phaser 6121MFP)
to reproduce your printing issue so that there is nothing
what we could do here. In contrast when you report your issue
directly at the matching upstream project, there is a direct
communication between you and the upstream authors, cf.
https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:How_to_Report_a_Printing_Issue
