--- Comment #8 from Freek de Kruijf ---
I retried things and have the following observations.
When having the lines "LABEL_x yyyy" for the IPv6 addresses in the ifcfg file I
have these IPv6 addresses double listed in "ip a". See below:
2: enp1s0: mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP
group default qlen 1000
link/ether e0:cb:4e:cd:d7:b6 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.178.6/24 brd 192.168.178.255 scope global enp1s0
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet 192.168.178.7/24 brd 192.168.178.255 scope global secondary enp1s0
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 2001:980:64c7::1:37/64 scope global
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 2001:980:64c7::1:36/64 scope global
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 2001:980:64c7:1::1:37/64 scope global
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 2001:980:64c7:1::1:36/64 scope global
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 fe80::e2cb:4eff:fecd:d7b6/64 scope link
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
After removing these lines the double listing is gone, however "systemctl
status network.service" shows an error. See below:
● wicked.service - wicked managed network interfaces

preset: disabled)

The IPv6 network is not usable.
Both the DNS and gateway for IPv6 is given the fd00:: address
Changing the order of the definitions of the IP addresses in ifcfg-enp1s0 by
first defining the IPv4 adresses and last the IPv6 addresses removed the double
listing of the IPv6 addresses.
After "systemctl restart network.service" the command "dmesg -w" outputs:
[ 8018.351835] r8169 0000:01:00.0 enp1s0: link down
[ 8018.351841] r8169 0000:01:00.0 enp1s0: link down

[ 8019.932447] r8169 0000:01:00.0 enp1s0: link up
[ 8019.932467] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): enp1s0: link becomes ready
followed by some firewall messages
Another strange observation is that "systemctl reload network.service" gives in
"systemctl status network.service" the extra message:
jun 09 14:20:47 eiktum wicked[15392]: ifreload: no matching interfaces
jun 09 14:20:47 eiktum systemd[1]: Reloaded wicked managed network interfaces.
I still have the feeling wicked is not properly handling the configuration
files in /etc/sysconfig/network/
If needed I can provide the current files.
