/dev/fd0 seems like not working
And what exactly does that mean?
fdformat can't format working diskete on working floppy drive
Also through KDE floppy can not be read.
KDE just uses udisks2 to mount the floppy, it doesn't "read" it by itself. So this is rather not a KDE issue. And as not even fdformat works, it's probably not an udisks2 issue either, but rather on a lower level like the kernel. But you should provide more information I suppose. Like what happens exactly when you try to do that, what error messages do you get, what hardware are you using (internal or external drive) and so on. Can you mount /dev/fd0 manually with mount? I.e. "sudo mount /dev/fd0 /mnt". FWIW, I still use floppy disks regularly here (inside KDE) with internal floppy drives on several systems and have no problems. I'm reassigning this to the Kernel for now, as it is no KDE issue IMHO as mentioned. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
