There is no change for os-prober made in between Oct 29 and Nov 1. It might be
related with changes in other utilities that os-prober uses for probing.
The most sensible changes is probably in grep, which had a big change in
November, that /usr/lib/os-probes/mounted/20microsoft uses for grepping
Windows's Boot Configuration Data (/boot/bcd) to determine "Vista" or "Windows
8" (in UTF-16 character encoding ..).
grep -qs "W.i.n.d.o.w.s. .8" "$2/$boot/$bcd"
Fri Nov 28 15:49:19 UTC 2014 - andreas.stieger@gmx.de
- GNU grep 2.21
- Improvements:
..
Or it might related with the mount options in ntfs-3g ..
Any suggestion for me to access the openqa vm to check & test ?
Thanks.
