--- Comment #2 from Ryan Benech 2014-05-02 05:10:09 UTC ---
IBM does not support DOMINO on openSuSE (only SLES). The error is correct, but
it is fixed with a kernel patch.
According to Andy Whitcroft "This might well
indicate that this subprocess is using msg ipc to communicate the connected
socket back to the unpriviledged master process. This could well occur if the
bindsock process is passing an overly large message buffer, which is
technically erroneous."
See discussion, successful patch for Ubuntu.

IBM Domino devs should fix the "overly large message buffer", but they won't
fix it for me due to UNSUPPORTED PLATFORM. I suppose I have to try SLES. I
partially expected it to be fixed there, but I don't find any bugs referencing
this error.
I have Domino working (no BINDSOCK error) on kernel 3.8.9-1.45(i586)
Available here
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tiwai:/kernel:/3.8/standard/...
After an exhaustive search, I have verified that BINDSOCK error DOES occur with
the following openSuSE 13.1 kernels:
3.14.1-1.geafcedb-default,
3.14.0-2.gfa168d7-default,
3.13.7-1.g0509ce5-default,
3.13.6-1.g4727218-default,
3.11.10-7-default,
3.11.6-4-default
Please let me know what I can do to help get this fixed.
