Summary: bind/named: default_debug channel is unusable
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 13.1
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal

With the configuration shipped, named cannot write to its default_debug
channel. This is because named tries to write to in its cwd, which
is "/var/lib/named" (the chroot base) and to which the user named doesn't have
write access.

One possible solution is to add the following configuration statements:
logging {
channel chroot_debug {
file "/var/log/";
severity dynamic;

category default { default_syslog; chroot_debug; };
