I'm afraid it got even worse after updating to latest factory :-(
mysql now completely refuses to start on boot and with "rcmysql start" (even
after removing .run-mysql_upgrade and .force_upgrade). It seems it does not
even attemp to start - /var/log/mysql/mysqld.log doesn't contain anything about
an attemp to start mysql.
My current workaround is "mysqld_safe &" as root, but I'd prefer a better
solution ;-)
