https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=872694 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=872694#c0 Summary: attaching an unreadable file gives no hint why attaching does not start Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 13.2 Milestone 0 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ohering@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Outsourced Testing Blocker: --- its actually 11.4-evergreen, but I'm sure its also in Factory: If a file to attach to bugzilla is not readable (due to lack of chmod a+r $file), the submit button in bnc does nothing. There is no hint why nothing happens. Until one figures out the permissions are the problem. Would be nice if FF shows some hint that it fails to read $file. Otherwise if I'm in a hurry to attach a 10MB file, click submit and run away, if I come back the file is still not attached... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
