https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852985 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852985#c0 Summary: KDE4 - laptop only hibernates once Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: madworm_de.novell@spitzenpfeil.org QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 With 12.3 the behaviour was this: Once the battery ran dry, the system would get ready to hibernate to disk. Plugging in the power cable would abort the process. Unplugging the power cable again would restart the process again. That worked as many times as you liked. With 13.1 this only works once after a login to KDE. After plugging in the power cable and unplugging in again, the system does not attempt to hibernate and runs until the battery is dead. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Wait until system wants to hibernate 'within 30 seconds' 2. Plug the power cable in and unplug it again 3. Hibernation is aborted, but never restarted again until battery fails Expected Results: Suspend to disk, no matter how often power was restored in the meantime, if the battery level is critical. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
