--- Comment #10 from Takashi Iwai
When idle, the output is:
event value: numid=18,iface=CARD,name='Headphone Jack' event value: numid=1,iface=MIXER,name='Headphone Playback Volume' event value: numid=3,iface=MIXER,name='Speaker Playback Volume' event value: numid=2,iface=MIXER,name='Headphone Playback Switch' event value: numid=4,iface=MIXER,name='Speaker Playback Switch' event value: numid=1,iface=MIXER,name='Headphone Playback Volume'
OK, at least, it's notified, and PA reacts. Then again in idle state, start "alsamixer -c0" in a terminal, also start "amixer -c0 events" in another terminal. Then plug or unplug the headphone, and watch how alsamixer elements change. In a good working case, when plugged, PA will change Headphone to unmuted and 100% while Speaker to muted and 0%. In the broken case you posted, Speaker is unmuted but its volume is left in 0%. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
