https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851467 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=851467#c0 Summary: Please do not install pullins by default Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: areta@outlook.com.br QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.57 Safari/537.36 SUSE/31.0.1650.57 openSUSE is trying to force the use of Flash and Fluendo. You don't know about the instalation of these components up to you'll need to install other software or update applications. And if you click in "I do not agree" when YaST show therms of license of Adobe or Fluendo, you can't continue the instalation of other software. Eg: I was trying to install nano when YaST asked me about the licenses of Flash and Flueno. I didn't accept it, simply because at that time I wanted to install just nano. YaST refused to continue the installation of nano unless I unckeck manually the pullins and its dependencies. This is very coercitive, if I didn't accept Adobe's license, why YaST didn't unckeck it automatically? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install openSUSE 2.Open YaST and try to install something 3. Actual Results: YaST will show the contracts of Adobe and Fluendo, and if you don't accept it, you can't install any other software unless you check Flash and Fluendo pullins and its dependencies. Expected Results: YaST shouldn't try to force the install of these softwares. For some people, this can't be con considered a bug because you can opt out the pullins. But the question is not about this, it's about the way of YaST acts in this situation. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
