Sorry, did not run as root before. Here is the result;
sudo cpupower monitor -m Mperf
root's password:
|Mperf
CPU | C0 | Cx | Freq
0| 0.60| 99.40| 2161
1| 0.63| 99.37| 1964
2| 0.42| 99.58| 2212
3| 0.12| 99.88| 1894
sudo cpupower frequency-info
analyzing CPU 0:
driver: intel_pstate
CPUs which run at the same hardware frequency: 0
CPUs which need to have their frequency coordinated by software: 0
maximum transition latency: 0.97 ms.
hardware limits: 800 MHz - 2.60 GHz
available cpufreq governors: performance, powersave
current policy: frequency should be within 800 MHz and 2.60 GHz.
The governor "powersave" may decide which speed to use
within this range.
current CPU frequency is 2.18 GHz (asserted by call to hardware).
boost state support:
Supported: yes
Active: yes
2400 MHz max turbo 4 active cores
2400 MHz max turbo 3 active cores
2400 MHz max turbo 2 active cores
2600 MHz max turbo 1 active cores

Running as root does make a difference. I normally do not run as root unless
expressly told to d so or see in the terminal command. Is that the toltal
issue then?
